New restaurants grow Downtown’s food scene
Downtown Tucson is a great place to enjoy a meal, see high-quality theater or other performances, listen to live music, shop for unique items, people-watch at a special event, browse a museum, catch up on some reading, or simply soak in the history of the Old Pueblo.
The Tucson Convention Center hosts a variety of entertainment, from boxing
and ice hockey to Broadway productions, from home shows to the Tucson Symphony
Orchestra.
Downtown’s historic landmarks remain in use as places of worship, cultural
centers, seats of government, transportation hubs, lodging, museums, live music
and performing arts venues, modern offices, and thriving businesses.
The Rio Nuevo Project is bringing more attractions to Downtown Tucson, such as the Tucson Origins Cultural Park, the University of Arizona Science Center, and new Tucson Arena.
