The Treasury 1929 hosts a walk-through wine tasting pitting California Chardonnay against its Burgundian counterpart, tracing how terroir, climate, and winemaking style shape the world's most versatile white grape. Guests move through three pairings over the course of the evening: a Louis Jadot Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru Chablis alongside Mer Soleil Silver Chardonnay with Osetra caviar over blini; a Domaine Ferret Pouilly-Fuissé and Bodyguard Chardonnay with fresh salmon tartare; and a Louis Jadot Saint-Aubin paired with Cakebread Napa Chardonnay and prosciutto-wrapped melon in port reduction. Saturday, August 22, arrive anytime between 6 and 7pm. $79 per person, tax and gratuity included. The Treasury 1929, 2 E. Congress St., Tucson.
