Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an archaeologist? Now is your chance to find out! Campers will learn how archaeologists really work through a series of hands-on activities that include:
**Using prehistoric tools,
**Excavating a simulated site
**Making string from agave
**Analyzing the artifacts found during excavation

Some activities will take place in our new Early People’s Park, which includes exploring a replica pit house.

Note: This camp teaches the science of archaeological and artifact analysis as well as history. Excavation and analysis will take place on June 9th from 8:30 am-2:30 pm at Old Pueblo Archaeology Center, 2201 E. 44th Street.
