The Borromeo String Quartet opens the AFCM Evening Series at the Leo Rich Theater. Praised by The Boston Globe for "edge-of-the-seat performances," the quartet has spent more than 35 years on the world's great stages and is known for performing from the composers' own manuscripts. The program moves from Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol's The Demons and Humans of Siyah-Kalem (2024) and Caroline Shaw's Entr'acte to Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 18 No. 2 and Dvořák's Op. 105. General $50 · Student $12 · UA students free while seats last.
