Details
The Calder String Quartet, winner of a 2014 Avery Fisher Career Grant, is joined by three-time Grammy-winning bass-baritone Dashon Burton at the Leo Rich Theater. Six works, four by living or recent composers, surround Schubert's Death and the Maiden: Adès's Arcadiana, Barber's Dover Beach, Jessie Montgomery's Loisaida, my love, Caroline Shaw's By and By, and Christopher Cerrone's Quintet.
