Called “one of Nashville’s most reliable and sophisticated songwriters” by the Los Angeles Times, GRAMMY, ACM, and CMA award-winning Grand Ole Opry member Ashley McBryde delivers hard truths with soulful ferocity. Her new album, Wild, weaves an 11-track narrative ending just before she quit drinking, exploring her Ozarks upbringing, fundamentalist shadow, and hard-won sobriety.
SPIN calls her “the genre’s smartest lyricist,” and her bar, Redemption, offers a non-alcoholic haven. “I hope it wakes the part of them that still believes in unrealized dreams,” she says. With support from Trey Pendley.
