Care 4 the Caregivers is hosting a Back-to-School Bonanza on Saturday, August 23 from 6–8 PM at Children’s Museum Tucson. This free indoor event is designed for families raising children with disabilities and their non-disabled siblings and peers. While many school-year kickoffs unintentionally leave out disabled children, this event is centered around access, belonging, and celebration.
Key features include:
Live performance by Mr. Nature with instruments for kids to play
Face painting and balloon creations
Meet-and-greets with a superhero and a princess
Two STEM activity stations hosted by the museum
Snow cones, cotton candy, and food trucks
A silent auction and raffle with prizes donated by local businesses
Inclusive goodie bags for the first 100 kids
Sensory room and adult changing space available on site
