Summer Beadstring Workshop (BYOB Edition) ☀️🍷
Looking for a creative way to beat the Tucson heat and spend a summer evening doing something meaningful?
Join us on Friday, June 13, from 6:00–8:00 PM for a special BYOB Beadstring Workshop in Ben’s Bells’ air-conditioned ceramic studio. Gather friends, bring your favorite beverage, and enjoy a relaxed evening of creativity, connection, and intentional kindness.
During this hands-on workshop, you’ll work alongside one of our skilled studio assistants to learn techniques used to create the clay beads that become part of Ben’s Bells installations throughout our community. Explore carving, shaping, adding texture, and creating unique details while contributing to our ongoing “conveyor belt” of kindness.
Every bead you help create will be fired, painted, and eventually become part of a piece that spreads kindness far beyond the studio walls.
You’ll also create something special to take home. After your studio session, choose from a selection of finished ceramic beads and learn how to assemble your own bead string. Design a piece that feels personal to you, keep your favorite, and create additional bead strings to share as gifts or acts of kindness.
Whether you’re planning a creative night out with friends, a date night, or simply looking for a unique way to spend a summer evening, this workshop offers a welcoming space to slow down, connect, and create with purpose.
A Few Important Details
🍷 Alcohol Policy
• Participants may bring up to 40 oz. of beer OR one 750 ml bottle of wine per person
• Valid ID is required and will be checked at the door
• Participants must be 21 years of age or older
🎨 What to Wear
• Please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy
• Avoid wearing jewelry such as watches, bracelets, or rings
