Deceiving Illusive Flight is the culminating experience and work of Gem’s time through the School of Art’s 3DXM program and as a W. A. Franke Honors student. Involving sculpture, performance, coding, and video, the exhibition invites viewers to call upon and embrace the feeling of rage to imagine alternative realities to capitalism. For six days, Deceiving Illusive Flight will be open as an immersive installation that puts participants in the role of the performer and bystander as scenes play that incite yearning and affirmation for action and when ideological greed becomes an economic, governmental, and political system.

The show runs Friday - Sunday April 25th - May 4th from 12 - 7 PM at the 7 Legged Spider Gallery with an opening reception April 25th from 4-6 PM
