The celebrated Dolce Suono Trio will perform a dazzling program featuring beloved works by Maurice Ravel and Joaquín Turina, in their own arrangements, commissioned works by Pulitzer Prize and 3-time Grammy Award winner Jennifer Higdon and the trio’s own pianist Charles Abramovic, Leonard Bernstein’s beloved Overture to “Candide,” as you’ve never heard it before, and Brazilian choros, showcasing the group’s specialty in Latin music. Dolce Suono Trio is comprised of internationally acclaimed artists flutist Mimi Stillman, founding Artistic Director of Dolce Suono Ensemble, cellist Gabriel Cabezas, and pianist Charles Abramovic.
