On this tour guests learn the rich history of Downtown Tucson! The tour begins by exploring our Spanish Colonial founding as a walled Presidio, followed by a visit to the historic Pima County Courthouse to hear the tales of John Dillinger. From there we stroll through west downtown to hear the tales of mid century entrepreneurs and downtown department store tycoons who gained national acclaim, plus the stories of a historic luxury hotel! We will stroll down charming Scott Ave discussing the historic architecture and learn of Tucson's first luxury hotel and its famous architect.
