In March, we’ll celebrate Archaeology Month by learning about various artifacts found in our region, practicing atlatl throwing, and making soap stone pendants. A demonstration of flint-knapping will also be included.
This monthly event is open to children of all ages but is ideal for 4-7 year olds and their families. Events may include a tour of the Presidio Museum, colonial-period games, a story time and much more!
All activities are included with regular museum admission and will run from 10 am-1 pm. Masks and social distancing required while at the museum. Visitors will also be asked to sanitize their hands upon arrival.
