Join us for the opening of Ice II, a site-specific ice sculpture by Olivier Mosset. Inspired by Mosset’s exploration of minimalism and monochromes the evening will also feature music, artmaking, gallery experiences, and cash bar serving beer and wine.
Interactive “I am the artist” gallery activities and art making will look at the visitor’s role as a part of a whole.
Art and gallery activities are led by Ami Dalal and Laila Halaby.
The evening will feature music by Karima Walker inside the museum galleries.
At 6 pm, there will be a panel discussion: In Conversation: Dr. Julie Sasse, Dr. Paul Ivey, and Olivier Mosset. Lecture will be held in the Stonewall Community Room, located in the Alice Chaiten Baker Center for Art Education. Click here to register for the panel.
