Come visit the world class museum located in Downtown Tucson, in the Historic Pima County Courthouse!

We are celebrating our grand opening on Feb. 3 and will be open with free admission!

The Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum showcases a continuous story of minerals and gems starting with the beginning of the solar system and follows the unique events on Earth that have lead thousands of minerals to evolve and be crafted by man. The museum celebrates the miners, tradespeople, collectors and artists that craft, carve and engineer minerals and gems into every day necessities and works of art.

Museum Layout Overview

• Mineral Evolution Gallery: Tells the story of our planet and its geological formation through rock-forming minerals, meteorites, and fossils.
• Arizona Gallery: Highlights Arizona and Mexico's vast mineral resources, especially Turquoise and Copper bearing minerals.
• Gem Gallery: Showcases the cutting processes that form beautiful gemstones as well as the dazzling jewelry created by expert designers
