Tucson’s first open consumption cannabis festival - sparks up on April 20th, 2023 at the MSA Annex concert grounds. A collaboration from three local producers - Bl_nk Media, Tucson Doobie and Tucson Foodie - High In the Desert features local and regional reggae and hip-hop artists, a cannabis expo and marketplace featuring local growers and cannabis industry brands, and delicious food from local Tucson restaurants and food trucks - all in one place.
The music lineup includes Los Angeles-based reggae band Iya Terra, Seattle-based hip hop artist Grieves, Phoenix-based hip hop artists Mouse Powell, Sacramento-based hip hop artist Chuuwee, and Tucson-based reggae band Desert Fish and hip hop artist Marley B. DJ EVOL will be be spinning between sets and the show is emceed by YoungMe.
Over 40 local and regional cannabis brands are participating in the expo including Qualifier Farms, Sublime, Roadrunners, The Prime Leaf, Donitas and more, plus live glass blowing demonstrations from Sunset Glass. Food and drinks will be available from 10 of Tucson’s best locally-owned restaurants and food trucks.
The festival is a celebration of cannabis culture and its impact on the community. High In The Desert promises an exciting lineup of performers and a unique opportunity to learn about local cannabis growers and the industry’s leading brands.
