WHAT: See inside this unique participatory art initiative and speak with community members and local leaders about importance of passing a pathway to citizenship

On August 31 and September 1, “Inside Out 11M” will be in Tucson to provide immigration advocates, local leaders and community members with a unique platform to amplify their voices in urging Congress to enact legislation this Fall to create a pathway to citizenship for millions of immigrants who call America home.
“Inside Out 11M” is part of a nationwide, participatory art initiative launched by award-winning artist JR, to create a portrait of America that includes immigrants and the descendants of immigrants alike. During this stop, “Inside Out 11M” will give community members an opportunity to take their pictures and join thousands of others nationwide who have used art as an expression of standing in solidarity with millions of immigrants.
