Join Christine Brindza in an examination of TMA’s art of the American West collection from perspectives related to time. A talk that considers TMA’s upcoming centennial 2024 celebration, explore documentative historic works of art from the time of survey expeditions, wistful portrayals of the land, people, and wildlife of the West after the frontier was deemed closed, and contemporary representations that blend ideas of the past with concerns for the present.
Lecture admission is $5 or free for members and students.
