After Mexico won independence from Spain in September 1821, the Presidio San Agustín del Tucson was under Mexican rule for 33 years. Join us as we celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day:

4:45 pm: Ballet Folklorico by Danzacultural Mexicana
5:45 pm: El Grito delivered by a representative from the Mexican Consulate
6:00 pm: Mariachi performances by Mariachi Los Diablitos del Sunnyside High School
6:45 pm: Mexican Tucson Lecture by historian and Presidio Museum board member Mauro Trejo

**The Dandelion Cafe will be open during the event selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
