Details
Explore the museum’s current exhibit, Arizona Biennial 2024, and get inspired by the works on display. During Second SundAZe: Family Day @ TMA, visitors will have the opportunity to create their own works of art as well as hear a performance from School of Rock Tucson.
Art-Making
Mooney Hall, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Hangable textile art with Printmaking- Create your own hanging work of art using printmaking techniques as well as variety of materials provided by the museum.
Self-Help Zine Workshop with Safwat Saleem
Sculpture Garden, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Join Safwat Saleem and his daughter Zaara for a drop-in self-help zine-making workshop to process, document, and reflect on your thoughts and concerns. Start by exploring Saleem’s installation, The Self-Help Library—be sure to spend time with Zaara’s books—and then create your own self-help zine.
School of Rock Tucson

School of Rock Tucson is a performance-based music school that uses group learning, live performance opportunities and a song first approach to optimize our students’ musical journeys. We have something for students of all ages and skill levels. We are a growing passionate community dedicated to enriching lives through the art of music education.
