Details
Make the season extra merry and bright by kicking off the holidays at the Tucson Museum of Art. Check out this year’s Second SundAZe: Family Day program with story time in the galleries and a class with the ballet Ballet Tucson‘s The Nutcracker.
- Art activities will be extend to one hour in Mooney Hall from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- The Sugar Plum Fairy from Ballet Tucson’s The Nutcracker will be at the museum to share some special holiday magic. Children of all ages are invited to join her Nutcracker ballet class and to hear the enchanting story of The Nutcracker.
- Ballet-themed arts and crafts will also be available in Mooney Hall from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Family Yoga in partnership with Yoga Oasis in Mooney Hall from 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
- The Arizona Women’s Chorus will be performing an eclectic mix of traditional and non-traditional songs from around the world that will highlight the joy and wonder of the holiday season in Mooney Hall from 1 p.m.-2 p.m.
Second SundAZe is presented by The Stonewall Foundation Fund held at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.
