Back by popular demand – Phoenix Chorale returns to Tucson for another program of gorgeous uninterrupted contemplative polyphonic sacred music from ancient times to today.
As night falls, the ancient rhythm of the monastic day begins its most intimate chapter. This candlelit journey follows the offices from Compline to Lauds, from the last prayers before sleep to the first song of morning and through centuries of chant and polyphony written to guard the soul through darkness.
