Please join us for the Stand with Women of Afghanistan and Iran on March 8th at 5:30 PM in Tucson, AZ. We will be rallying in Downtown Tucson at 401 W Congress until 7:30 PM.

The Tucson Afghan and Iranian communities are coming together to hold a peaceful rally on the occasion of International Women’s Day. We are asking all those joining the rally to be respectful and focus on bringing awareness on the issues of women’s rights violations in Afghanistan and Iran. There will be speakers sharing personal accounts impacted by systemic human rights violations in Afghanistan and Iran. We welcome everyone who cares about human rights, justice, education, and bodily autonomy—including the right to choose one's own sexual and reproductive practices and what to wear—to attend.
