37th Edition of “Stars of Magic” on August 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Historic
Temple of Music and Art in Downtown Tucson. Stars of Magic has been a Tucson tradition since
1988. Doors will open at 6:30 and there will be pre-show entertainment in the lobby and the
courtyard with astounding close-up magic performed right
before your very eyes.
This is Tucson’s premier magic event that is family friendly and has something fun for everyone. It
is full of hilarious magic tricks, mentalism, ventriloquism and acts of breathtaking wonder, and
will thrill audiences of all ages, showcasing the jaw-dropping talents of some of Tucson’s most
incredible magicians. Tucson born John Shryock and his wife, Mari Lynn, are featured in this show
and they are renowned, award-winning magicians, who have traveled the world. John is the
producer of this show which is sponsored by Tucson’s local chapter of the Society of American
Magicians. Mr. Shryock is also known for his unique ability and passion for creating and producing
special curated shows—co-starring some of the industry's top performers. The 36th Edition of
Stars of Magic looks to continue the tradition of providing a very interactive and entertaining
event with this year’s cast, including crowd favorites: Valerie Spell, Gabe Lim,
Alan Vanderploeg, Ross the Magician & Julia, Art Trillo, Mike Bekedam, Dan MacInnis, Norm
Marini, Benny James, John Nolander, and John Shryock & Mari Lynn
