One of the country’s largest free music festivals, the Tucson Folk Festival celebrates folk, roots, and acoustic music every spring in Downtown Tucson.
This year's celebration includes two stages on Jácome Plaza, the always picturesque Museum Stage at Presidio San Agustín del Tucson, our lively North Church Stage, and two stages, workshop areas and song circles on Court Avenue and Telles Street. We start our festivities Thursday night with a fundraiser concert at Monterey Court, followed by our Friday night Stefan George Memorial Songwriting Competition featuring eight talented finalists. Visit the Spirit of Sonora Agave Heritage Event at Wildflower on Friday night, share your story at the Tucson Meet Yourself ‘We Hold These Truths’ exhibit, and dance the night away at our North Church Stage Contra Dance on Sunday.
Across these six stages, we’ll be featuring over 150 performances by more than 450 musicians including family shows, young artist showcases, and national and regional headliners. Our annual festival couldn’t be possible without our community partners, generous sponsors and funders, annually donating members, dedicated Board of Directors, and tireless volunteers. Thank You!
