Beat the heat and join us after hours on June 26 for Momentos, a summer series that celebrates the intersection of art and community, where art becomes a catalyst for connection and meaningful conversations.
Schedule of Activities:
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. explore TMA’s Arizona Biennial 2026 and reflect on the intersections of art, place, and heritage.
5:00 p.m.-5:30p.m.: Join a semi-guided conversation focused on the theme of Roots and Power in the Arizona Biennial 2026 and hear from Biennial Artists Lex Gjurasic speak about her work; meet TMA staff in Mooney Hall to check in at 5p.m., limited space.
5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: On TMA’s terrace join Arizona Biennial 2026 artist Lex Gjurasic as she guides participants through the process of drawing self-portraits as flowers. Reimagine how you see yourself through the act of joyful creation, as the artist infuses this project with her philosophy of radical happiness and listen to beats by DJ Clamato inspired by Arizona Biennial 2026.
Throughout the evening enjoy a cash bar with beer and wine, complimentary bar snacks, vegan ice cream and treats for purchase by Nice Dreams and an opportunity to learn more about TMA Membership and connect with members, in TMA’s Terrace!
