Cara and Alice, TMA Death Café facilitators, bring their death-positive lens to create a unique guided experience through TMA’s Centennial Exhibition “Time Travelers: Foundations, Transformations, and Expansions at the Centennial”. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we will encourage participants to navigate the complex emotions associated with loss while considering the timeless nature of art. After reflecting on the themes of foundations, transformations, and expansions lifted up in the exhibit, we will gather for a facilitated group discussion and individual collage art projects to integrate our personal discoveries about the intersections of art, growth, death, and showing up for life. We are excited to explore with you.
