Hotel Congress & KXCI are excited for another year of the Tucson Rock Lottery as the heart of Club Congress Weekend!
At 9am on Saturday September 5th, twenty five of Tucson’s most talented musicians will gather together to form brand-new bands at random by drawing names out of a hat. They will write and learn three original songs, learn one cover, and perform all in under 12 hours. The epic culmination of their collaboration will happen on the plaza stage in a celebration of all the ingenuity the Tucson music scene has to offer.
All proceeds from this event supports KXCI Community Radio, a 501c3 non-profit committed to connecting the communities of Tucson and Southern Arizona to each other – and the world – with informative, engaging, and creative community-based programming.
