A special staged reading of Rick “Wind” Herrera’s new solo show, “Vamos A Reír Un Poco” (Let’s Laugh a Little). An evening of humor, heart, and storytelling—followed by a post-show talkback with the artist.

“Vamos A Reir Un Poco (Let’s laugh a little)” - Synopsis

Rick goes on a funny and heartfelt journey reflecting on his childhood to fatherhood.
His vivid memories growing up in Brooklyn, New York and colorful characters, embraces the highs and lows of his life.
Rick is faced with the fears of becoming a father, while revisiting the anger and abandonment of not having his father around.

(The show will aim to run for 1 hour and 10 mins with no intermission. There will also be a Q&A after the reading is done.)

Rick “Wind” Herrera is an award-winning actor, writer and storyteller from Brooklyn, New York. Now living in Arizona, Rick continues to write and perform content that blends humor, honesty, and vulnerability. Being an artist and creating solo shows based on his life, has helped his personal growth; as it provided a space of healing, through laughter and truth.
