Tucson Holiday Ice | November 24 - January 5

Rio Nuevo and the City of Tucson invite you to skate on Tucson's outdoor ice rink over the holidays, November 24, 2024 - January 5, 2025. Tucson Holiday Ice will be located downtown at 260 S. Church Avenue, in front of the Tucson Convention Center Ticket Office. And YES - it's real ice!

Downtown Parade of Lights | Saturday, December 14

Celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, December 14, with the Downtown Parade of Lights and Festival, presented by Rio Nuevo! The parade begins at 6:30pm at 4th Avenue & 17th Street, and ends at Armory Park.

Tucson's Christmas Tree | November 22 - January 5

Tucson's Christmas Tree, presented by Rio Nuevo and Downtown Tucson Partnership, is located in Jácome Plaza downtown (101 N. Stone Avenue). The tree is adorned with thousands of white LED lights and over a thousand beautiful ornaments. Standing at an enormous 36 feet tall, Tucson's Christmas Tree is one of the largest in Southern Arizona. The tree is available for viewing every day during regular park hours through Jan. 5, 2025, 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

 

Chanukah @ Downtown Tucson | Wednesday, December 25

Celebrate Chanukah 2024 at the 41st annual lighting of Tucson's tallest Menorah, Wednesday, December 25, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in El Presidio Park (160 W. Alameda St). Admission is free & open to the public.

The Made in Tucson Market will take place on December 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 311 E. 7th Street, where you can shop from over 300 local creatives and enjoy a variety of food from more than a dozen local food trucks.

Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair | December 13 - 15

Happening December 13-15, this family-friendly tradition attracts over 600,000 people to the heart of the Old Pueblo each year. The fair will be open Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fair hosts artists from around the world, has many decadent food vendors, hosts local performers and is a whole lot of fun.
