More to Love: Pueblo Vida Brewing Expands in Downtown Tucson
Categories Food & Drink Family Friendly Downtown Community

After 12 years in Downtown Tucson, Pueblo Vida Brewing is getting ready for its next chapter. The locally loved brewery is expanding into its neighboring space at 121 E. Broadway Blvd., bringing more room to gather, new food and drink options, and a few surprises along the way.
Owners Linette Antillon and Kyle Jefferson are targeting a mid-November opening for the expanded taproom, with even more to come in early 2027. And for longtime Pueblo Vida fans, there's good news: the beer, the people, and the welcoming atmosphere aren't going anywhere.

More Room to Stay Awhile
The expansion will increase seating from approximately 60 to more than 100, with a mix of booths, tables, window seating, and a larger bar. But it's about more than just adding seats. Thoughtfully designed to accommodate different gatherings and experiences, the new layout offers room to meet friends for a beer, spend time with family, or simply settle in and stay awhile.
The new space is being completely transformed, with plenty of natural light and plans for approximately 125 plants from Tucson's Eco Gro to bring warmth and greenery indoors. Other planned touches include custom European-style ceramic beer taps and a new Broadway entrance with an awning, signage, and trees, just one door east of the current entrance.
Pueblo Vida's beer will still be brewed on-site. The familiar canned beer cooler will remain for guests to take their favorite cans home. Meanwhile, the original taproom will transition into a flexible space for private events, special gatherings, and overflow seating. The additional space will also open the door to more community events and activities, including the possible return of a few old favorites.

Something New on the Menu
One of the biggest additions is coming in January 2027, when Anello plans to open a new food concept connected directly to the expanded taproom.
Building on its sourdough offerings, Anello is developing a menu of sandwiches, Sicilian-style square pizza by the slice, and soft serve. The counter-service setup will allow guests to grab food to go or bring their food into Pueblo Vida to enjoy with a drink.
With a separate entrance off Arizona Avenue, Anello will offer a convenient new spot to grab lunch or dinner downtown, whether you're visiting for the day or looking for a new favorite during your workweek.
Pueblo Vida is also expanding its drink offerings to include wine and nonalcoholic options. Plans for a coffee program will bring another reason to visit, with full coffee service envisioned for the mornings and a smaller selection available throughout the day.

A Familiar Favorite, With More Possibilities
For owners Linette Antillon and Kyle Jefferson, the expansion offers an opportunity to build on what Pueblo Vida has become in the past 12 years. With more room to gather and more ways to enjoy the brewery throughout the day, there's plenty for longtime regulars and first-time visitors alike to look forward to. And at the heart of it all is the same neighborhood brewery Tucson has come to know and love.
Opening dates and planned offerings are subject to change.
