The Downtown Tucson Summer Passport Challenge is officially here! A community-wide adventure designed to help you discover local favorites, try something new, and make the most of summer downtown.
From grabbing coffee at your go-to café to visiting museums, shopping local, attending events, and trying new restaurants, these summer passports are packed with activities that encourage you to experience downtown in a whole new way!
Where to Get Your Passport
Passports will be available beginning June 1 and can be picked up in person at Tucson Gallery or downloaded online. Participants can choose from seven unique passport challenges, each featuring its own curated list of downtown activities, destinations, and experiences. This self-guided journey runs from June 1 through September 7, giving you plenty of time to complete one passport or several!

How It Works
Participants can pick from seven different types of passport challenge categories, allowing everyone to build their own unique downtown experience throughout the summer.
Once you complete 10 challenges on a passport card, bring it to Tucson Gallery to pick up your limited-edition Downtown Tucson sticker and Tucson Gallery sticker pack. There are three different collectible sticker designs available throughout the summer, giving participants even more reason to continue exploring downtown.
After claiming your stickers, participants can also leave their completed passport card at Tucson Gallery for entry into the $100 Downtown Tucson Gift Card giveaway. Be sure to complete the information on the back of the card before turning it in. One winner will be selected once the activation period concludes in September.
As you work through your passport, be sure to keep an eye out for challenges marked with an * on the card. These specific activities require a stamp from the participating business in order to count toward completion.
Stamps can be collected directly from employees at participating locations after completing the activity or visit!
Build Your Own Downtown Adventure
One of the best parts of the Downtown Summer Passport Challenge is that no two experiences have to look the same! Start your morning with coffee downtown, spend the afternoon exploring local shops and galleries, stop into a museum, grab dinner with friends, catch live music, or end the night with dessert and cocktails. Downtown becomes your choose-your-own-adventure all summer long!
This passport challenge is created to encourage the community to move through downtown, discover new businesses, revisit old favorites, and support the local establishments that help make downtown vibrant and unique. Some challenges are simple, while others might encourage you to step outside your usual routine, but every activity is designed to help participants experience downtown in a new way!
