Born & Brewed Beer Battle at Hotel Congress

Hotel Congress is celebrating Tucson's bustling craft beer scene with its 6th annual Born & Brewed Beer Battle, a competition in which Tucson breweries vie for Best Specialty Beer, Best Flagship Beer, and People's Choice. Local craft beer will be complemented with food provided by the Cup Cafe, as well as live music. 

This year’s judging panel includes:
• Pat Butler of Dragoon Brewing Co.
• Adam Lehrman of Tucson Foodie
• Dan Marries, local new anchor Tucson News Now
• Aaron Defeo of USBG Tucson and Casino Del Sol

Fourteen breweries are competing in this year's competition: 1912 Brewing Co., Barrio Brewing Co., Black Rock Brewers, Borderlands Brewing Co., Catalina Brewing Company, Copper Mine Brewing Co., Crooked Tooth Brewing, Dillinger Brewing Company, Green Feet Brewing, Iron John's Brewing Company, Nimbus Brewing Company, Public Brewhouse, Sentinel Peak Brewing Company, Thunder Canyon Brewery. 

Fellow lovers of Tucson craft beer are joining in on the festival: Local First Arizona, Tucson Homebrew Club, Yelp Tucson, and Girls Pint Out. Stop and chat at each of their stations to learn more about these organizations.

For $30 advance, $35 day of GA tickets enjoy:

For $15, Designated Driver tickets enjoy a plate of the general admission food, a take-home gift, and the joy of getting their friends home safe.
