The Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) was recently honored by the Minority and Small Business Alliance of Southern Arizona and the U.S. Small Business Administration with the “Hero Award” for their commitment to Downtown Tucson and their efforts to help those that are struggling amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kathleen Eriksen, CEO of the DTP was thrilled with the honor and accepted the award on behalf of the entire DTP team. “I am so proud of our staff. Their commitment and dedication is evident by the work they do every day to keep downtown safe, clean and beautiful; while concurrently helping businesses survive and adapt. The staff’s effort this past year has been truly heroic. In August, we lost a valuable team member, Joe Dominguez to COVID. We dedicate this award to Joe. He was true a Hero and is greatly missed."
