DTP Encouraging Downtown Property Owners to Illuminate their Building for the Holidays
Downtown Building Illumination Program
Downtown Tucson, AZ - The holidays may seem far away, but they are just around the corner. Now is the time to start thinking about holiday decorations for Downtown Tucson. The Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) is here to make it streamlined and economical for private property owners in Downtown Tucson through the Building Illumination Program. Last year, over 50 Downtown Buildings participated in this unified and festive display that illuminated the Downtown skyline, viewable from miles away. DTP would like to increase that number this year!
DTP is encouraging property owners to light the roof line of their buildings again this year with commercial grade LED light line and clips. DTP has done research and found what is
believed to be the highest quality product at the lowest price available through Christmas Light Decorators.
This program is a cooperative, organized effort that will ensure straight and secure light lines with consistent color and wattage while meeting the parameters established in the Dark Sky Ordinance. The light line will provide a striking silhouette of Tucson’s unique skyline.
The Building Illumination Program is one part of an extensive holiday décor/promotional program organized through the Downtown Tucson Partnership. Keep a look out for more exciting holiday news in the weeks to come!
