West End Station Breaks Ground
Work on downtown-area housing gets underway in Tucson
A new housing development is going up near downtown Tucson for low- and moderate-income families.
The 70-unit rental complex, West End Station, will be located at 855 W. Congress St., on the west side of Interstate 10.
The joint venture between Gorman & Co. and the Gadsden Co. celebrated groundbreaking at the site on Tuesday.
The complex will be located along the Sun Link streetcar line, near Mercado San Agustin.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 10 to 12 months.
