Downtown Free COVID-19 Testing

Pima County Health Department and Downtown Tucson Partnership have teamed up to provide free COVID-19 testing to individuals who work, live, and play downtown.

The Downtown Tucson Testing Center is located at the Northwest corner of 12th St. and 6th Ave., on the south side of the Tucson Electric Power Headquarters building. Free testing is available for anybody five years of age or older every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (excluding January 18, 2021) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those seeking testing must make an appointment ahead of time due to testing demand and limited capacity for social distancing. Appointments can be made online at or by calling 855-452-2346. Type of testing: nasopharyngeal swab to detect active COVID-19 infection via PCR; anterior nares swab available, especially for children less than 10 years of age.

  1. You will be sent a text message and email from LabFinder when your results are ready to be viewed, approximately 24-48 hours after your test. Click the link in the text or email to access the patient portal.
