Traditional activities include blacksmithing, soldier drills and the firing of a four-pound bronze cannon, children’s games, and tastings of handmade tortillas.

This month, in addition to our traditional demonstrations, Living History will include displays and demonstrations highlighting the history of how Arizona became a state from New Spain to the Mexican era to the Territorial period. As part of the celebration, Danzacultura Mexicana will perform Folklorico dancing at 11 am.

This event is included in admission, which can be paid at the door.
