Carlos Nakai has achieved Gold and Platinum Record recognition for his work with Canyon Records, and earned eleven GRAMMY® Nominations in a forty-year career that has taken him around the world for countless performances with his various multi-genre ensembles and cross-cultural collaborations, and as a featured soloist and composer with numerous symphony orchestras. The latest iteration of the ever-evolving Nakai phenomenon is RC3: The R. Carlos Nakai Trio. RC3 places Nakai's unique technique and immediately identifiable style center stage at the sonic spear point of two-time GRAMMY® Nominee AmoChip Dabney’s mellifluous multi-instrumentalism and seven-time GRAMMY® Nominee Will Clipman's percolating pan-global percussion.
