The owners of The Kava Bar, Whitney and Kevin, met in Asheville NC. It was there they discovered their love of Kava. Whitney was born and raised in Tucson and previously owned a successful restaurant in Asheville. Kevin is an Asheville native and career bartender. Their time outside The Kava Bar is spent with their three energetic boys and in the gym training.
As parents and athletes, they understand the struggle of managing stress and physical pain, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the need for a social outlet that isn't incapacitating. The mission of The Kava Bar is to offer a remedy for those things and provide a community for all kava lovers.
