#13 on Turquoise Trail Map: Carmen Soto Vasquez was the wife of the builder of Teatro Carmen, and the building is named for her. Opened in 1915, it started as a theater devoted to staging dramatic works in Spanish. It then became a movie theater, boxing arena, garage, and Elks Lodge. Today, the building is privately owned and not open to the public.
