Downtown Tucson Gift Cards are available for purchase anytime online.
Purchase a Downtown Tucson Gift Card
How much can I load onto a gift card?
Gift cards can be purchased in any amount from $10 to $500.
What payment methods are accepted?
Online purchases can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Google Pay.
Are there fees to purchase gift cards?
Yes. Activation fees vary depending on the number of cards purchased:
- 1–10 cards: $2 activation fee per card
- 11–49 cards: $1 activation fee per card
- 50 or more cards: $25 flat fee
There is no limit to the number of gift cards you can purchase. For large corporate orders, please contact giftcard@downtowntucson.org.
Can I receive a digital gift card by email?
No. Downtown Tucson Gift Cards are physical cards that must be swiped through a participating business's point-of-sale system to process payment. Digital gift cards are not available.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does it take to receive my gift card?
Online orders are processed within 3–4 business days and shipped via USPS First-Class Mail, which typically takes an additional 5–7 business days. Please allow approximately 8–11 business days for processing and delivery.
Note: Processing and delivery times may be longer during the holiday season.
Is shipping free?
Yes! Downtown Tucson Gift Cards are shipped free via USPS First-Class Mail. Express shipping is not available.
Can I pick up my gift card in person?
No. Downtown Tucson Gift Cards are available for purchase online only. All orders are shipped via USPS First-Class Mail. In-person purchases and office pickup are not available.
Can I send a gift card directly to someone else?
Yes! During checkout, you can enter a recipient name and shipping address different from your billing address.
How are gift cards packaged?
Each gift card comes in its own holder and envelope, along with a list of participating Downtown Tucson businesses. The gift card amount is written on the back of the card.
Using Your Gift Card
Where can I use my Downtown Tucson Gift Card?
Gift cards are accepted at more than 50 participating Downtown Tucson businesses, including restaurants, shops and other local establishments. You can use your card at multiple participating businesses until the balance is depleted.
How does the Downtown Tucson Gift Card work?
The Downtown Tucson Gift Card works similarly to a credit card. Simply present your card when making a purchase at a participating business. The purchase amount will be deducted from your available balance.
Why was my card declined at a participating merchant?
Your card may be declined if the purchase amount exceeds your available balance.
If your balance doesn't cover the full purchase, ask the merchant to charge the remaining amount to another form of payment before swiping your gift card.
You can check your available balance online at getmybalance.com or by calling 1-800-755-0085.
Can I use my gift card to leave a tip?
No. Downtown Tucson Gift Cards cannot be used to pay tips or other gratuities. Please use another form of payment to tip your server.
Can I return an item purchased with my gift card?
Returns are subject to each participating business's return policy. Many participating merchants will provide store credit for eligible returns.
Can I redeem my gift card for cash?
No. Downtown Tucson Gift Cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Balances, Expiration & Replacement Cards
How do I check or track my gift card balance?
You can check your remaining balance in several ways:
- Online: Visit getmybalance.com.
- By phone: Call 1-800-755-8713.
- On your receipt: Look for the authorization code at the bottom of your receipt after making a purchase with your gift card. The format ##X## indicates your remaining balance, with the X representing the decimal point. For example, an authorization code of 52X02 indicates a remaining balance of $52.02.
Tip: Write your latest balance in the space provided on the back of your gift card to help you keep track.
Do Downtown Tucson Gift Cards expire?
No. Funds on your Downtown Tucson Gift Card do not expire.
Your physical card has a "Valid Thru" date printed on the back. Once that date has passed, contact Downtown Tucson Partnership to request a replacement card at no cost.
What should I do if my gift card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Notify Downtown Tucson Partnership as soon as possible.
If a replacement card is issued before the original card's "Valid Thru" date, a $5 replacement fee may apply, unless prohibited by law.
- If your remaining balance is at least $10, any applicable replacement fee will be deducted from your card balance.
- If your remaining balance is less than $10, the fee must be paid at the time of replacement.
