Downtown Tucson Partnership promotes downtown as a district while creating opportunities for businesses that are located within the Downtown Tucson Business Improvement District to increase visibility, share information and participate in collective campaigns.
Eligible businesses located within the Business Improvement District have access to complimentary marketing resources across DowntownTucson.org, the Downtown Tucson Events Calendar, email, social media and other DTP communications.
Complimentary Business Listings
Businesses within the downtown district receive a complimentary listing on DowntownTucson.org, helping residents and visitors find places to dine, shop, visit and access services downtown.
Listings may include:
- A business description
- Address and contact information
- Hours of operation
- Business category
- Photographs
- Website and social media links
Business owners are encouraged to review their listing regularly and contact DTP when information changes.

Submit an Event
Businesses, venues and organizations may submit eligible public events taking place within the downtown district for consideration on the Downtown Tucson Events Calendar.
The calendar helps audiences discover your business through concerts, performances, exhibitions, special offers, markets, workshops, community gatherings and other experiences.
For the strongest event listing, please provide:
- A clear event title and description
- Date, time and location
- A direct event, ticket or registration link
- High-quality horizontal photography
- Age, accessibility or admission information when relevant
Submitting events as early as possible gives audiences more time to discover and plan for them.
Share Your News
DTP regularly highlights downtown businesses, events and experiences through its website, email newsletter, Downtown Tucson Insider blog, social media, public relations and collaborative campaigns.
BID businesses may submit:
- New business openings
- Major announcements
- Upcoming events
- Seasonal menus, products or experiences
- Significant anniversaries or milestones
- Community partnerships
- Story ideas
- High-quality photography
Submissions are reviewed based on timing, audience relevance, available space and alignment with DTP’s district-wide marketing priorities. Submission does not guarantee publication or promotional coverage.
Join the Downtown Tucson Gift Card Program
Participation in the Downtown Tucson Gift Card program is complimentary for businesses located within the Business Improvement District.
The program encourages people to spend locally and introduces customers to more than 60 participating restaurants, retailers, entertainment venues and service providers.
Businesses that accept Visa can generally participate without purchasing additional equipment or changing their existing point-of-sale system.

DTP sends direct email updates to downtown businesses and stakeholders with timely information about district operations, business resources and opportunities to participate in upcoming campaigns and activations.
