Merchant Planter Program
Downtown Tucson Partnership's urban beautification program adds bright splashes of color and greenery by providing initial plantings and monthly maintenance options for planters owned by downtown merchants and property owners.
City Planters
Over 200 city of Tucson-owned planters are filled with both trailing vines and flowers as well as drought-tolerant plants native to the Sonoran Desert. DTP plants, maintains and waters these planters to bring pops of color and greenery to downtown's streets.
Outdoor Café Grant Program
Outdoor seating activates and beautifies downtown streets. This program helps businesses build, expand or enhance their outdoor café areas by providing a reimbursement for eligible project costs up to $5,000. Our team offers design and liaison assistance with permitting as well.

Building Illumination Program
Downtown Tucson Partnership’s innovative holiday lighting program highlights Downtown Tucson’s skyline with thousands of white LED lights. With over 50 participating downtown buildings, this elegant and festive display is visible from Interstate 10 and the Catalina Foothills. Property owners and managers purchase uniform clips and light lines for their buildings. This incredible installation is complemented by over 150 street trees wrapped in white LED lights, as well as other seasonal decorations.

Street Illumination Program
A downtown business and visitor favorite, the Street Illumination is a sure sign that the most wonderful time of year is approaching. Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) coordinates and raises money each year to adorn the trunks and canopies of over 150 trees with thousands of warm white LED lights. Strolling among the downtown lights is the perfect way to enjoy a brisk desert night.
