The block of South 6th Avenue between Armory Park and Children’s Museum Tucson will become a canvas for large street murals accompanied by planters and flex posts to enhance safety and comfort for everyone using the street.
Join us to bring a mural created by Tucson artist Yu Yu Shiratori to life during this all day block-painting-party, including DJs, food trucks, activities for kids, and more.
Dress to get messy--we'll have everything you need to help paint the street mural.
This project is a collaboration between Living Streets Alliance and the City of Tucson Dept. of Transportation & Mobility, made possible by a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies Asphalt Art Initiative.
