Details
The US Air Force has new plans to escalate training over the most biodiverse region of the continental United States, where military air maneuvers especially harm conservation areas and Tribal Lands. The Peaceful Sky Benefit is sharing awareness of these proposals 2/19 - 2/22, in solidarity for peaceful skies and equitable stewardship of the region, featuring local and touring musicians at different venues. Prints of art by Monica Aissa Martinez, Ahchipaptunhe, and Julius Schlosburg will be available as thanks for direct contributions to NGOs which advocate for equitable environmental stewardship. Ticket proceeds will support initiatives that have pledged to increase awareness of the proposals, including The Border Chronicle, a weekly newsletter that publishes original, on-the-ground reporting, analysis, and commentary from a border perspective.
