Tucson, AZ- On March 18, for one night only, AR Flamenco presents Semillas Flamencas, an evening of flamenco under the Sonoran sky. Semillas Flamencas marks the reunion of four of Arizona’s most acclaimed flamenco artists, sharing the same stage for the first time since before the pandemic: Misael Barraza, known for his ferocious dynamics on the flamenco guitar; Jason Martinez laying down complex rhythms on the cajon; Angelina Ramirez brings her signature playful footwork patterns and tenacious stage wit; and Oliva Rojas ignites the night air with her transcending vocal range. Opening the evening, classical guitarist Ana Maria Iordache will immerse the audience in classical music's most popular Spanish stylings.
