Enjoy a Tucson evening with a cocktail, tapas or charcuterie from The Dandelion Cafe (additional charge) while listening to a Salon and Saloon lecture in the Territorial Patio on “The Surprising History of Agriculture in the Tucson Basin” by Diana Hadley. The doors open at 6 pm, and the lecture begins at 7 pm.

Hadley is an environmental historian who served as Director of the Arizona State Museum’s Office of Ethnohistorical Research specializing in the translation and editing of Spanish historical documents. Her work focused on the history of land use and ecological change in the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico. She is the author of several books on local history and environmental change.
