Tucson’s annual celebration of poetry is 40! The 2023 Festival, themed “Poetry & Presence” will feature Saturday afternoon workshops at the University of Arizona; a Saturday evening reception and reading at the Temple of Music & Art; and a Sunday afternoon open mic at LaCo. Poets Laura Tohe, Farid Matuk, Joni Wallace, Sarah Kortemeier, and Jesse Begay will be featured. For schedule and details, visit tucsonpoetryfest.org.
