Coroners were tasked with investigating unusual deaths. During the Territorial Period, over 700 Coroner’s Inquests were held. Presidio Museum Board Member and Archaeologist Homer Thiel presents some of the unusual stories told in the surviving records of these investigations. This lecture will be held via Zoom only, and attendees must pre-register to receive the Zoom link.
