Tucson Frights and Bites invites thrill-seekers, history enthusiasts, and food lovers alike to step off the beaten path and into a tour that masterfully blends haunting local lore with locally inspired multi-course dining at three iconic Tucson eateries.
Haunted History Meets Culinary Craft
Participants will embark on a guided walking tour that features a 3-course dinner and several spirited stops along the way:
- El Charro Café – Begin with authentic Sonoran-style appetizers and a choice of house or prickly pear margarita at the oldest continuously operating Mexican restaurant in the U.S., a locale imbued with spirited tales of its pioneering founder.
- Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink – Enjoy an artisan pizza entrée paired with craft beer or wine in a space once home to an 80-year-old funeral home, where ghost stories and historical remnants linger beneath its modern charm.
- HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery – Cap off the evening with delectable house-made ice cream at this restored brick eatery, set amid stories of Tucson’s oldest hotels and train station.
